Privacy policy
Last updated: August 2026
This policy explains what apar does with personal information collected through apar.ca. It covers visitors to this website. Information we handle on behalf of an accounting firm under a services agreement is governed by that agreement, not by this policy.
What we collect
- Information you send us. When you complete the contact form or email us, we receive your name, firm name, email address, any phone number you provide, and whatever you write in your message.
- Basic technical information. Our hosting provider records standard request data such as IP address, browser type and requested page, for security and reliability purposes.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, to have the follow-up conversation you asked for, and to keep the website working and secure. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are retained while the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time and we will do so, subject to any records we are required to keep.
Your rights
Under Canadian privacy legislation you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@apar.ca and we will respond within the timeframes the legislation requires.
Service providers
We use third-party providers to host this website and to deliver email. These providers process information on our instructions and only as needed to provide their service.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
